Putting Your Hoof Down

Assertive Fluttershy is best Fluttershy? Probably not. After watching this episode, I prefer the shy, loving Fluttershy. Iron Will, a Minotaur, has a workshop where he assertifies (that's not even a word) ponies so they stop being pushovers. Naturally, Fluttershy was a prime target for his workshop. Of course, Iron Will's workshop worked amazingly, and Fluttershy became assertive. At first, it was good, but naturally her assertive nature took a horrible turn, becoming more of an aggressive nature than an assertive one, which makes sense. You know those bronies who wanted a return of Fluterbitch? They should be satisfied with this episode. Unbeknownst to her, she goes as far as to insult Rarity and Pinkie Pie's cutie marks and special talents, causing both the mares to run away crying. Fluttershy looks into a puddle right after and sees what she has become. She locks herself in her cottage, calling herself a monster. Pinkie Pie and Rarity eventually return. Rarity and Pinkie Pie believe that Fluttershy was not being herself and Iron Will had changed her. Iron Will comes to collect his money, but Fluttershy refuses, saying Iron Will had promised a 100% satisfaction rate, and Fluttershy was not satisfied. Iron Will then left, taking Fluttershy's "No means no," line to use in his future workshops.

All in all, this episode was fantastic, playing on real-world problems, as always. Fluttershy learns that she needs to be more assertive, but not too assertive, which is a lesson everyone should know. Not only that, but she finally put Angel in his place at the end of the episode, using The Stare on him to get him to eat his food. I feel that Fluttershy is going to be able to use her Stare more effectively from now on.

Chapter 2

You guys know I'm writing a fan fic. Or at least you should f you've been reading these. I have finished up Chapter two, and while I think I did a bit bad, I'm sure y'all will bear with it and enjoy the story. The CMC Bloggers

The CMC Bloggers have grown these past few weeks. We have updated the picture at the top to include our newest Blogger, Lametitan. I have some very important news regarding this. We will NOT be updating the picture any more. The nine Bloggers on the picture are the official CMC Bloggers. Anyone else who comes afterwards will not be classified as a CMC Blogger, but will still be able to access this chat and the Steam group.

That being said, I have unlocked the Steam group to allow anyone to enter with an invite from one of the CMC Bloggers. This will allow almost everyone who wishes to follow the blog chat with the CMC Bloggers.

The Future of the Blog

The blog's future has been a big discussion these past few weeks. I've been thinking about what to do once Season 2 ends and I can no longer post reviews and summaries of episodes. Well, I've decided to keep the blog up and running. With the random influx of CMC Bloggers and random people showing up, I can't in good nature end the blog. Not right after the season ends anyway. Now, of course I'm going to need new content to post. If you guys want my blog to continue going, give me ideas, suggestions, anything you could want to show on here. Including this, I will also post my fan fic updates, as well as give random news concerning everyone's favorite pony, Derpy.
